My parents had Silver Birches lining their driveway. They were so pretty and grew really tall. If you get a birch, make sure it's NOT a river birch - they shed their bark (not so pretty).
I would say japanese Cherry - the one that starts with a K. I think it's Koshino - there are gorgeous and have a moderate growth rate. However, another good idea is to pick a blooming tree that blooms in Aug-Sept. I can only think of one off the top of my head and that's the one whose nickname is Golden Rain. Good luck. Can't wait to see which one you pick. Tero
I'm gonna vote with a fruiting tree...and a Lemon tree at that. They're very fragrant and eventually will be ready to provide those lemons for the lemonade you'll want ;)
I like Lelan Cypress it is ever green grows fast and where ever u put it it could go to block sun or wind or a good private area, just dont do like i did and plant them to close together they turn out to be very wide and big trees. Its like having a Christmas tree all year round.
OOooh what a great idea!!! I'm not good with names of trees though lol I would suggest graph an orange and cherry tree maybe?(Ellie from NBBC)
